In his message this week, Bishop Todd reviews the 10 Commandments – the list of rules that help us to maintain our sacred covenant with God. As we follow these rules, we strengthen our community as well. The promise of Lent is reflected in our lived experience right now. While we acknowledge the grief and sorrow suffered by so many, we are able to see a more optimistic future – vaccination clinics are ramping up, numbers are stabilizing and coming down, and we are able to gradually reopen our churches. This is the message of Lent – from ashes to hope.
