Outreach for July
In July, we focus on the environment.
St. Paul’s Food Bank. Our next Food Bank Sunday is Sunday, 11th August.
Breakfast program
This past Saturday, we served 135 meals. Often in the summer, we see fewer people but all
indicators show this will not be the case this year. We see newcomers each week, many of
whom live in this neighbourhood. We give thanks for the generous donors – it is only through
your support that we can provide this service. And to our volunteers- thank you for your
enthusiasm, caring and flexibility. Needed at this time are toiletries, simple t- shirts, and
summer footwear.
Our next breakfast is Saturday August 3rd from 9 – 10:30 am. All are welcome!
Fundraising and Social
Really early notice: St. Jude’s Golf and Dinner Social. Please save this date- Friday,
September 20th for 9 holes of golf at Cobble Hills GC. First tee times will be about 4:30 pm.
After golf, we will move to a restaurant in London for dinner at about 7 pm. Even if you don’t
golf, please feel free to join us for dinner! We will provide the restaurant location in
