Outreach for January
Socks Share: Gathering new, gently used and mismatched socks. Also, new underwear for all
ages. Suggestions for socks are those with some wool that last longer than white cotton.
Donations will be blessed during our service. These will be shared with Unity Project, St.
Joseph's House with CCLC, Youth Action Center.
St. Paul's Foodbank
Our next Paul’s Place foodbank Sunday is 8th February
Breakfast Program
Our “hearty” team of volunteers served 152 breakfasts this past Saturday. Children and adults
enjoyed warm apple cider and the addition of marshmallows to their hot chocolate. Thank you
for your donations of warm coats and footwear - they make a significant difference for those
living outside during these cold weather extremes.
Our next breakfast is Saturday, 7th February, 9 - 10.30 am. Everyone is welcome!

Plan to come and invite your friends! You don't need to bring a whole team- singles, couples and small groups are welcome- we will add you to a 6-8 person team that evening. You will explore the breadth and depth of trivia through 100 questions. Multiple-choice answers will be provided for most. Guaranteed head scratchers and laughs! On a team, it is likely someone has an answer! And -there is fun in the discussion! $20 per person. Snacks will be served and a cash bar will be available. To register, please contact David Belford through the office at stjudeslondon@diohurn.org.
Practice question: All of the following sports were invented in Canada: basketball, 5-pin
bowling and wheelchair rugby. True or false?
Save another date!
“Guess Who's Coming to Dinner” returns on February 14th, 2026. As in
past years, parishioners are invited to sign up for in-home group potluck dinners (6-8 people),
with none of the participants knowing in advance whose home they will be going to or who will
show up. A great evening to socialize with friends you know well and also people you want to
get to know better. Always an evening of fellowship, great food, great stories and laughs.
Sign up sheets will be available in the Narthex in mid-January. For more information, please
contact Derek Shadlock in person or through the office at stjudeslondon@diohuron.org.
