Alleluia – we worshipped in the Sanctuary this past Sunday. Fr Bill questioned why Mark told the story in his gospel about Jesus being unable to affect those in his hometown as he did the crowds when he travelled afar – and suggests that it was in order to start the apostles on their own ministries. The message being that we all are charged to act – not to standby and bask in Jesus greatness and let him do all the work – but to share the news and to act as Jesus feet and hands in this world. Thank you to Fr Bill, Cyndi, Christina, Faye and Mike for the service this week. We pray that we can continue our Sunday worship together safely throughout the summer – please join us on-line or in the Sanctuary (pre-registration). God’s peace to you and yours.
