Alleluia! Alleluia! How great it was to be together in the sanctuary to celebrate this most holy of days. The music, the flowers, sisters and brothers in Christ we haven’t seen for a couple of years – we felt truly blessed. Thank you to Fr Matt for leading the liturgy, Christina and the choir for the beautiful music, and Lay Readers Sharon and Bryan for the readings and prayers. Fr Bill reminded us that the resurrection happened while it was still dark – so in this time when so much going on in our world is negative and heartbreaking, we should take hope and comfort knowing that the resurrected Jesus was alive even in the darkness. The Easter message is that he is now and always will be with us through the dark hours and days. God’s peace to you and those you meet in this week ahead. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
