Fundraising and Social
Strawberry Social, this Saturday June 8th.
You will have your choice of:
Three Cheese and Vegetable Quiche OR Shaved Ham and Swiss Cheese Croissant Sandwich/
mustard
Both Served with Mixed greens, vinaigrette dressing.
Strawberries with choice of ice cream, whipped cream, homemade Sponge cake.
Coffee, Tea, Pink Lemonade, Water.
For Gluten Free people we can make a crust less Quiche or a Ham and Cheese Salad plate as the
main course. (Sounds yummy)
Tickets are available from the church office, $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children
under 12. Doors will open at 12.00 noon, and lunch will begin at 12.30 pm.
Men’s Coffee Hour: The men will be coffee-ing next Tuesday 11th June in the LGC Room at 10.00 am.

The Yard Sale is on for Saturday 22nd June, from 8:00am to 12:00 noon. Please contact the
office or Derek Shadlock if you would like a table.

Outreach for June: Men’s Month
St. Paul’s Foodbank – June 9th.
Community Breakfast – June 1st, 15th, and 29th.
Strawberries for St. Jude’s: Financial donations appreciated to provide fresh strawberries for the
community breakfast closest to Canada Day (29th)
National Indigenous Day – June 21st.
Men’s Mission: providing emergency shelter for an individual or family, or caring for those
with mental health needs, Mission Services of London is there with a message of hope through
faith serving those who struggle with poverty and homelessness. They provide food, shelter,
clothing, crisis intervention and rehabilitation. Needs: gloves, toiletries, razors, underwear,
wallets.
Unity Project: working to stabilize people in their moment of crisis and to engage them in their
own process toward stability while utilizing all available community resources. Housing (with
support) is the solution to homelessness and we will continue to develop our program around
this outcome for participants. Needs: socks, bus tickets, t-shirts, small backpacks, razors,
underwear, coffee mugs.
St. Paul’s Food Bank. Our next Food Bank Sunday is this Sunday, 9th June, and Joanne
Lubansky Johns has kindly stepped in to take your gifts to the cathedral, as Doug and Laura will
be away that week. The food bank is asking this time for Cereal, Pasta Noodles, Pasta Sauce,
Baked Beans, Tuna ,Granola Bar, Canned Vegetables, used containers , used grocery bags .

The next breakfast is on Saturday 15th June; all are welcome!
