Outreach
During April we concentrate on the environment, making sure to recycle, reuse,
compost as much as possible, and make full use of London’s excellent Green Bin program.
St. Paul’s Food Bank. Our next Food Bank Sunday is Sunday May 11th.
Alongside Hope (formerly PWRDF) is appealing for donations to help support the hospital in
Gaza, especially desperate now that all US aid has been cancelled. Go to the Alongside Hope
webpage to donate online.
Breakfast program
135 breakfasts were served this past Saturday. Lots of energy and chatter in the hall, perhaps
influenced in part by the chocolate Easter eggs and cake on hand. Thank you to the Intrepid
Women for the handmade Easter favours, enjoyed by children and adults alike.
Our next breakfast is on Saturday May 3rd from 9 – 10:30 am. All are welcome to join us!

Cindy Warner (ACW president and Sunday School leader) wants to update us on the young
people’s activities:
We had 9 children at the Easter Egg Hunt on Holy Saturday! A huge thank you to Evan, Travis
Malik and Rowan for hiding all the eggs for and for all the set up.
We would also like to thank Joanne, Deb and Linda for all their help, as well as Kevin and
Jennifer. Andrew won the Easter basket; his family is new to St. Jude’s.
On Easter Sunday we had 7 children from 2-7 years old, and we made Easter Tomb Cookies.
(Pillsbury Crescent rolls around a large marshmallow and cinnamon sugar). When they go into
the oven it is representing Jesus on Good Friday, then when they come out Jesus is no longer
there, just like the empty tomb.
Let’s Celebrate
