Summer services begin this Sunday 29th June, one service of Holy Eucharist each Sunday at
9.30 am, and this will run until 31stAugust, Labour Day weekend. On this first summer Sunday
we shall have a guest speaker, Peter Fragiskatos MP, our representative for this riding, to bring
Canada Day greetings from Ottawa.
Outreach
Outreach. In June the Focus is on Men.
Men’s Mission: providing emergency shelter for an individual or family, or caring for those
with mental health needs, Mission Services of London is there with a message of hope through
faith serving those who struggle with poverty and homelessness. They provide food, shelter,
clothing, crisis intervention and rehabilitation.
Needs: gloves, toiletries, razors, underwear, wallets
Unity Project: working to stabilize people in their moment of crisis and to engage them in their
own process toward stability while utilizing all available community resources. Housing (with
supports:) is the solution to homelessness and we will continue to develop our program around
this outcome for participants.
Needs: socks, bus tickets, t-shirts, small backpacks, razors, underwear, coffee mugs
St. Paul’s Food Bank. Our next Food Bank Sunday is Sunday July 13th. See the separate

Laura and Doug will be away for the 14th June, so we’ll need a volunteer to take our
gifts to the cathedral. Please contact Kathy in the office if you can help.
Breakfast Program
146 breakfasts were served this past Saturday. Our cool and welcoming space makes a real
difference for newcomers and those without a permanent safe space to rest and visit with friends.
Gently used housewares are very popular so please think of our friends and guests before you
head to Goodwill with your “treasures”. Many thanks for your generous support of the fresh
strawberries which will be the treat of the week at our next breakfast.
Please join us for coffee on Saturday July 5th from 9 – 10:30 am and meet some of those who
come to share in our hospitality. All are welcome!
