Sunday School A note from Cindy Warner. We shall not have Sunday School for the next two
weeks, since Susan and I will not be available.
Children are welcome to use the toy room, with parental supervision.
Volunteers needed We are looking for more volunteers for our various support roles for
Sunday services and for our security team. With sign-up Sunday just a couple months away,
please just take a moment to look at what time you might be able to give to the church. The more
volunteers we have the lighter the load for everyone. Contact Kathy in the office if you would
like more details.
Outreach
In July we focus on Back to School.
Back to School: school supplies and back packs for children and youth heading to school in
September. These will be blessed prior to distribution to those in need, and go to Rotholme
Family Services.
FundScrip. Rick will be in the Narthex this Sunday to take your July card orders
Breakfast Program
Many thanks for your financial donations toward the strawberries for this week’s breakfast treat.
They are always a hit. The team just washes the berries and puts them whole in small clear
containers with lids so they don’t get bruised in transport.
We are at the half way point in the calendar year and continue to see a rise in our numbers. In
2024 we served 1423 meals from January to June and during the same time frame in 2025, we
have served 1704 – an increase of 281. We are always looking for fundraising activities so please
let us know about any of your ideas. We are also looking for ways to partner with other
organizations and should to have good news about such a partnership in the near future.
Our next breakfast is this Saturday July 5th from 9 – 10:30 am. All are welcome!
