Guest Preacher: A very special guest preacher, Glen Pearson, founder and executive director of
the London Food Bank, will preach at the 10.00 am service next Sunday 22nd, March. A forum
on Food Security in our Community will follow the service.
Easter is coming!
Palm crosses. The Chancel Guild invites all parishioners and others interested in helping make
palm crosses on Saturday March 28th at 9:30 am in the St Alban’s Room . Instruction is
provided and no experience is needed. Coffee, Tea and goodies will be served.
Easter flowers; as usual, we are invited to donate towards the flowers that will beautify the
church at Easter. Make sure your envelope is clearly marked, and you can include a dedication of
a thanksgiving or memorial. This should be dome by 29th March, Palm Sunday.
Egg hunt! Saturday 4th April, an egg hunt for kids on the church property at 11.30 am.
Volunteers are needed, so see Cindy Warner if you can help, and invite all your neighbour kids!!

29th March, the Sunday of the passion, and Palm Sunday. Services at 8.30 and 10.00 am.
2nd April, Maundy Thursday, Holy Eucharist, and Foot Washing, 7.30 pm.
3rd April Good Friday, a meditation on the cross, 10.00 am.
5th April the Sunday of the Resurrection, Easter Sunday, services at 8.30 and 10.00 am.
Outreach for March
Concentrating on Paul’s Place, and our own Breakfast program.
St. Paul’s Foodbank
Our next Paul’s Place foodbank Sunday is Sunday, 12th April.
Our faithful couriers, Doug and Laura Fairbairn, will be away in April, and so we need a
volunteer to take our Paul’s Place gifts to the cathedral on Monday 13th April.

Indwell: Following our very successful response to the Indwell project, where we raised
$8,000.00! Julie Ryan from Indwell was at the 10.00 am service last Sunday to receive the
cheque! In addition, Julie invited us to attend the opening open house for their latest facility,
Cove’s Landing, Wharncliffe Road south, which will be on 9th April. More details will follow.
Diocese of Huron Annual Meeting of the ACW – “Believe and Trust” Join with the women of
the Diocese at our annual meeting on Saturday April 25th at the Church of the Ascension on
Dundas Street East. Registration fee includes morning coffee and lunch. $20 in advance, $25 at
the door. Preregistration required. See poster on the bulletin board.
Xillennial Potluck Supper: March 28th – The next potluck supper for Xillennials (Millennial + GenX = Xillennial) will be held in the Cracknell Room at the church on March 28th. If you ‘re in one of these age groups, come out to enjoy a relaxed family-friendly potluck (kids too!). We’ll share a meal, meet new friends, and enjoy simple activities for all ages. Questions? Easter Egg Hunt – On Sat, Apr 4th, St. Jude’s will host the second annual Easter Egg Hunt on the church property starting at 11:30 am. Kids of all ages, connected to the parish and from the neighbourhood, are invited to participate. Invite the children in your lives to take part! There will be prizes and, of course, candy. If you’d like to volunteer before (hiding eggs!), during (supervising, serving, and supporting) or after (clean up) the event, please speak to Cindy Warner. Also, we need volunteers to help distribute door hangers in the neighbourhood on Sat, Mar 28th to promote this event and the Easter Sunday services on Apr 5th.
The Heart Sees Further – “Famous Conversions” – The current series is called Famous Conversions on St. Jude’s Facebook page. Each Wednesday, a new, 5-6 minute reflection about notable Christian leaders’ spiritual experiences, shared by Fr. Kevin, is posted.
